Bq Architects also offers fixed pricing on jobs where budgets are certain and the scope of works is well defined. Charges are heavily dependent on the size of the project and the scope or services required.

The short answer is no. We offer reduced services for the smaller, simpler jobs. Our interiors, tendering, and contract admin services are offered optional.

A planning permit is an approval from the relevant municipality that a particular proposal meets planning legislation and zoning requirements. It does not give permission for construction to commence. A building permit is required for any form of construction to take place. The town planning process assesses a proposal based on local and state planning policies whereas the building permit process assesses construction documentation based on building regulations and relevant construction codes.
